Why buy store bought smoked almonds when you can easily whip up your own batch in just minutes. But we would be remiss if we didn’t add a warning: these almonds are quite addicting and tend to easily disappear. Thank you to Leah Bradley for contributing this recipe which showcases our new Olive Wood Smoked Infused Olive Oil. Of course you could easily substitute with any favorite infused or fused olive oil. We also enjoy these with a little spicy kick using the Cayenne Fused Olive Oil or Chipotle Infused Olive Oil.
2 tablespoons Olive This! Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon fresh or dried rosemary leaves, crushed
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, toss together all ingredients until almonds are well coated. Optionally, before you mix the ingredients together, we suggest prepping the salt by using a mortar and pestle to turn it into a powder. Spread the almonds in a single layer onto a large baking sheet. Roast for 10-15 minutes, stir, and continue roasting for another 10 minutes until fragrant and golden brown. Cool completely before serving.
